Political Elections – The Illusion Of Choice

Those who don't vote are called irresponsible citizens by those who do. This is in fact incorrect because voting is not a responsible activity, in fact elections are not at all what they appear to be. Not even close.

There are rules on this Earth that are not only unwritten but are also untold and unknown to many of us. One of them, unfortunately, is that voting doesn't change anything. The political figures are not as important as you may think. Their main purpose is to be the face of the state management but they are not the ones who pull the strings and make the important decisions. The true governors are usually unknown to the population – you don't see their faces in the newspapers, you don't know their names, you don't know anything about them. Yet, they make the true decisions.

The goal of political elections is to give people the illusion of choice. The illusion that they can change something even though they can't. Believing that by changing the politicians once would also change the principles is like treating the symptoms instead of the cause – eventually the problem comes back to bite you one ore time. That's why there is no need to vote – it does not matter who is officially in power because the ones who make the real decisions are corporate organizations who have manipulated the world for a very long time through all kinds of ways – religion, Hollywood, education, food, finance and emotions. Have you ever wondered why nothing changes after new politicians are elected? The wound cannot heal if the bacteria is still present.

In another article I explained why sports are the greatest distraction and are meant to keep people occupied while the real decisions are being made. The truth is that politics operate on the same principle but while sports are oriented towards the middle and lower class politics are meant to be the distraction of all classes – the so called intellectuals are the ones who are kept busy by political events. While people are arguing which is the best party the private organizations controlling banks, energy companies, the military sectors and religion are going to work. George Bush and Obama are perfect examples of people in power position who have no power at all. Just pawns.

In the end of the day the leaders of the world benefit from keeping people ignorant on many subjects in order to manipulate theme easily. It may look like a dream come true but it's a little bit like drugs – the nightmare comes when you wake up. Give people bread, circuses and a cold beer and we stop talking since dogs don't talk when they are holding a bone in their mouths. A dog does not want to lose its bone.

I don't expect this to change while I am still alive. To be honest I don't expect it to change while you are alive either. {you mad?} This problem is bigger than us and has been developing for centuries. You can't reverse the process overnight. The only thing we could actually do is to simply be aware of it and at least admit its existence instead of believing in fantasies. Admit it, your voting changes shit. The wheel of corruption continues to spin and evil & greedy bastards want you to be an ignored and stupid moron whose only goal is to go to the mall.

I would like to end this article with a quote from Oriana Fallaci:

Why do the people humiliate themselves by voting? I didn't vote because I have dignity. If I had closed my nose and voted for one of them, I would spit on my own face.
