“Vengeance is just:
Justly we rid the earth of human fiends
Who carry hell for pattern in their souls.
But in high vengeance there is noble scorn:
It tortures not the torturer, nor gives
Iniquitous payment for iniquity.
The great avenging angel does not crawl
To kill the serpent with a mimic fang;
He stands erect, with sword of keenest edge
That slays like lightning.“

- William Hazlitt, Characteristics

“Revenge, like some poisonous plant, replete with baneful juices, rankles in the breast, and meditates mischief to its neighbour.“

- Wellins Calcott, Thoughts Moral and Divine

“Revenge holds another irony. It so often proves unnecessary. "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord," wrote an ancient Hebrew sage. No mere pious platitude. An axiom of human psychology that is too little understood. Substitute "Nature" for "the Lord," if you desire. Those given to harming others bear within themselves the seeds of their own destruction. When a man injures you, it's often better to let Nature take her course. That wise old lady is pretty sure to do a juster and more artistic job of punishment than you.“

- Garret Smith, Living Sparks of Life

“The best manner of avenging ourselves is by not resembling him who injured us; and it is hardly possible for one man to be more unlike another than he that forbears to avenge himself of wrong is to him who did the wrong.“

“Revenge is what we call that sturdy horse, Self-Defense, when it runs amuck. Curb it and train it to stick to the road, and it will carry you far.“

- Garret Smith, Living Sparks of Life

“Revenge is a common passion; it is the sin of the uninstructed. The savage deems it noble; but Christ's religion, which is the sublime civilizer, emphatically condemns it. Why? Because religion ever seeks to ennoble man; and nothing so debases him as revenge.“

- Bulwer Lytton, My Novel or Varieties in English Life

“Revenge, the attribute of gods! They stamped it with their great image on our natures.“

Lamar Gant - Born To Deadlift

Lamar Gant (born 1957 in Fort Collins, Colorado) is an American world record-holding powerlifter with idiopathic scoliosis. He was inducted into the International Powerlifting Federation Hall of Fame in 1980. Gant set his first world record in 1974 by deadlifting 524.5 pounds (238 kg) at a bodyweight of 123 pounds (56 kg) at the Flint Olympian Games. In 1985, he became the first man to deadlift five times his own bodyweight, lifting 661 pounds (300 kg) at a bodyweight of 132 pounds (60 kg).

For this, he has been included in the Guinness Book of Records. As of 2006, he holds the world records for deadlifting in both the 123- and 132-pound weight classes. His best lifts at 123 pounds are 314 pounds (142 kg) RAW bench press and 638 pounds (289 kg) deadlift; at 132 pounds are 595 pounds (270 kg) squat 615 pounds (279 kg) (in training), 352.5 pounds (159.9 kg) RAW bench press, and 688 pounds (312 kg) deadlift.

Lamar Gant was born with damaged spinal chord - he used it to his advantage and became a legend

Long arms help too

Lamar was also a good bencher thanks to his arch

And just because I am 100% certain someone will ask me: No, he was not natural. He was 135lbs but also super short.

CrossFit And Steroids - Yeah, "functional" bitches ain't clean either !

You think that just because someone does kipping pull-ups he/she does not take steroids ?

Well, think harder...The truth is that many professional female and male Cross-fit athletes are not "natural". Let's take for example Mr. Rich Froning (Rich Froning Jr. (born July 21, 1987) who is an American professional CrossFit athlete known for his achievements in the 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 CrossFit Games.)

You have to be really ignorant to beleive that a professional CrossFit athlete (whatever that is) is not using something illegal to boost his/her performance and make some more money. It's just not possible...Even skinny soccer players take some gear in order to recover from training 2 times a day every day. In this particular case Rick displays muscularity, muscle maturity and density that is hard to achieve naturally. I would even say most people won't ever have similar muscular development...

His weight is supposed to be 195 lbs at 5'9 and bodyfat is at 6-8%. So, in my book he has 20lbs of muscle more that an elite natural lifter, bodybuilder, fintess doll...On top of Rich present "hardness" impossible to achieve without some supplementation. Too bad many of the ignorant fools on Bodybuilding.com still believe that similar physique is acheivable naturally and "you just have to put in the work."

Yes, he may not be Ronnie Coleman's size but remember that Ronnie Coleman is/was using grams and grams of steroids. This guy is using much less andis much smaller.

Actually he is quite big in person but that's a different story.

I would really love to see people wake up and realize that you don't have to be Ronnie Coleman's size to be on steroids. There are men who weight 135 lbs and are useing gear. Yes !

At the same time you cannot expect people like Rich Frauding to admit steroids and growth hormone usage because that way they will lose all their sponsors as well as tons of money. Who would do that in 21st centruty or any century for that matter ?

-------------------------------------Fake-------------------------------------

Female athletes do not make an exception. A lot of them juice too. Just because a woman does not look like a professional female bodybuilder, who usually has clitor the size of a banana, it does not mean that she is natural. Pretty much every female professional lifter is injecting some type of male hormones into her body. There is no other way.

That's a big dude.

CrossFit Sucks !

CrossFit is currently one of the most popular ways to produce human sweat. There are millions of fitness enthusiasts who follow the main principles of CrossFit religiously. It seems that once you have become a CrossFitter it gets really hard to quit. The main problem that comes with CrossFit is the extreme variety of exercises done with poor form. Sometimes CrossFit videos makeyou wonder whether the whole thing is to perform all the exercises in the world.

As we all know pictures speak louder than words (most people are too lazy to read between the lines) and that's why IronGangsta decided to present you a collection of photos meant to illustrate the crazy sides effects reported by CrossFit addicts.

CrossFit - Sex And Money Is All That Matters

I've been training for a long time now although I had some large pauses in my training "career" due to mainly low motivation. I've tried all kinds of training but one thing I never did was CrossFit.

To me Crossfit is the perfect way to make yourself vomit and feel like you worked really hard while in reality it's not as it seems. Yes, Crossfit complexes are hard as hell but in the end of the day anything can make you tired till the point of vomiting - try this - masturbate 10 times a day while alternating both hands in order to develop symmetrical arms. I bet you will feel tired.

Does this mean you worked hard ? Kinda. But did it get you anywhere ? Je ne pense pas...I am also pretty sure your dick will be swollen in the morning. (not 100% sure)

My point ? Being tired has nothing to do with progress.

Imagine that you are a working bee (check the link to see what I mean) and you are working 3 hours overtime each day. Where does that get you ? It really depends on the situation and mainly the company you are working for. If you work in a company where actual growth is impossible killing yourself for the sake of killing yourself is stupid. On the other hand if you see opportunities in front of you it makes sense to actually get your stuff together and work hard in order to reach the next level.

To me crossfit is like working for a company where there is not option for actual growth and career development.

There is too much accent on making vomit so that you can post pictures of you on Facebook.
Six pack - not so hot on girls
Who made more progress the person who worked on getting his/her pull-ups up by 20% or the person who did 50 different exercises and puked ? Well, I would rather be the first person unless of course I have good company to do the first option with. Otherwise I have better things to do.

Another "cool" thing about Crossfit is the phenomenal form used by the athletes.

I doubt things will change because Xfit seems to be making a lot of people very reach. Even Mark Rippetoe used Crossfit to promote his super overrated book Starting Strength. Once he got all the advertisement he needed he simply started talking trash about Crossfit and forgot that he became a millionaire thanks to it.

Facebook Addiction More Dangerous In 2013

Facebook is a dangerous tool. The success of this evil web-site is due to only one thing - people's need to spy on their "friends" and make sure they are not "better than them". The main reason why myspace was blown away by Facebook was the fact that the latter is better for online stalking and less work and creativity is required to design your profile. People just want to know what the cute girl or boy they like is doing. Facebook mobile helps too.

However all that power has it's price - addiction.

Facebook can become a highly addictive activity. The ease of online communication can be quite harmful since it's easy to get lost in the web space and completely forget that there is an analog word out there which may not be updated quite often but still remains the main scene where the cool things happen.

Facebook's emoticons may be cute but they are just that - emoticons. Nothing more, nothing less.

Keep calm, close Facebook and go out for a run without your phone !
